Telling the fascinating story of our capital city and its people from its early beginnings through to the present day, the Museum of London offers a range of dynamic event spaces at London Wall and the Docklands.

With over a million visitors each year the Museums hold the largest archaeological archive in Europe, at over two million objects.

The first space to greet guests at Museum of London is the contemporary Entrance Hall which boasts a futuristic bar. In combination with the Galleries and London Ellipse Hall, the Museum can accommodate receptions for up to 1000 guests, or used as a dinner space in its own right for up to 200 guests.

The Museum’s largest space, the London Ellipse Hall is ideal for award ceremonies, gala dinners and large scale receptions, holding up to 1000 standing guests or 400 seated. Clients can create unique displays on the 48-metre long LED ellipse which is suspended from the ceiling – from a roaring fire to a bespoke design with interactive social media features.

The Museum of London’s award-winning galleries tell the incredible story of the world’s most exciting city, offering a content rich environment for guests to explore. Highlights include the London 2012 Cauldron, the original Art Deco Selfridges elevator, the twinkling backdrop of the 17th century Pleasure Gardens and the immersive Victorian Walk, bringing turn of the century London to life.

The Museum also boasts a purpose built lecture theatre with high spec AV facilities and a charming outdoor terrace with access to the Terrace Gallery, Garden Room and Terrace Boardroom.
