Our Exciting Year Ahead and 2018 Highlights

With 2019 already shaping up to be our best year yet, we wanted to take a moment to look back over 2018 highlights from a handful of our many incredible events!

Held at Westminster Abbey, this party featured themed food stations inspired by the global food scene of Borough Market (pictured above – photo Madison Phipps).

Marking the start of Chelsea Flower Show, we delivered a breath-taking dinner at Royal Hospital Chelsea as part of a series held by one of our long-standing corporate clients.

A collaboration with NH Hotel’s Michelin Star chefs, this star-studded charity gala dinner featuring Tom Odell, Snow Patrol and Fun Lovin’ Criminals was held at iconic Abbey Road Studios.

The stellar World Chess Championships at the Victoria & Albert Museum welcomed global chess champions and celebrities for a sleek, high-profile evening.

Other key highlights included a ‘Greatest Showman’ Party where we planned and coordinated all aspects for 400 guests at Royal Horticultural Halls; the Syon Estate Restaurant at Decorex for the third year – a luxurious gastronomic experience held in the grounds of Syon Park for hundreds of VIPs, guests and exhibitors; a chance to enjoy the spectacular newly renovated Temperate House at Kew Gardens for a high profile Kew Foundation Dinner held amongst the greenery;

‘Our Canvas, Your Creation’ for Historic Royal Palaces’ annual wedding showcase at Kensington Palace, we created four Chef’s Table experiences and a hidden garden dessert station (view the film); a spectacular awards ceremony featuring light-hearted dinosaur centre-pieces to reflect the setting at the Natural History Museum;

the atmospheric City Secrets Dinner dinner showcasing Guildhall’s fascinating Roman Amphitheatre, which provided inspiration for Italian themed dishes and an indulgent candlelit dessert station (as featured in 2019 Event Trends);

a beautiful Summer reception at Cutty Sark featuring a grazing style menu presented as an ‘edible garden’ and a ‘Sail Away with Tea’ dessert station; a sumptuous candlelit Winter wedding with Bruce Russell in Henley, featuring a highly bespoke menu reflecting the couple’s travels, luscious canopies of foliage and a flamingo inspired floral bar;

and an exquisite 21st Birthday Party Held at Two Temple Place for a celebratory dinner followed by dancing until the small hours…

Not forgetting the jewel in the crown for our 2018 highlights review – we were delighted to serve lunch to the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, along with 300 guests at the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club for the Sentebale ISPS Handa Polo Cup. The Duke of Sussex’s team won the cup with a thrilling polo match and the event raised an impressive £1million for the Prince’s charity.
