Timeless Romantics – Launching Weddings at The V&A

Timeless Romantics was a evening of breathtaking beauty and romance, launching weddings at The V&A with a showcase of two of the Museum’s five spaces now boasting wedding licences, to a glittering array of high profile planners and influencers.
Inspired by Raphael
Taking inspiration from the lavish wedding banquets depicted by Renaissance Master, Raphael, Blue Strawberry’s vision was brought to life with a unique wedding breakfast experience, set beneath a dreamy floral canopy.
Wedding Breakfast Experience
Guests enjoyed elegant miniature starters before moving onto a ‘family sharing’ style main and finishing with a delicate dessert station as they made their way along a grand banqueting table. Prior to the big reveal in the opulent Raphael Gallery, Blue Strawberry greeted guests with a stylish Champagne and canapés reception in the Hintze Galleries.

“The Timeless Romantics event was just stunning, from start to finish. It was wonderful to see The V&A dressed for a wedding ceremony, complimented by the most beautiful banquet, creatively and stylishly presented as a station – perfect for standing guests to mingle. The food itself really was delicious and utterly spectacular.”
Stuart Jenkins, Managing Director at Blue Strawberry and Table Talk
“We were absolutely thrilled to be asked by The V&A to partner in launching their spectacular new weddings offer – whereby couples may now hold their ceremony within the Museum itself.
Guests loved exploring our wedding breakfast experience, which offered them a taste of our Spring/Summer 2019 menu collection. We look forward to working with The V&A in creating a wealth of truly spectacular weddings and events for years to come.”
