Sir John Soane’s Museum
Sir John Soane's Museum
A Grade I listed building of outstanding originality, the Sir John Soane’s Museum is one of the most atmospheric museums in London. The venue provides elegance and atmosphere in the same beautiful setting where Sir John Soane entertained his guests. Displaying Soane’s vast and eccentric collections, still arranged as he left them, each room is fascinating.
The dining room is perfect for an intimate dinner on one long table, surrounded by mirrors, Pompeian décor, Greek vases and paintings. During receptions guests can explore The Dome and its 3000 year old sarcophagus of an ancient Egyptian king and the Picture Room with paintings by Canaletto, Hogarth and Turner.
