Kensington Palace is part of the Historic Royal Palaces (HRP) group, an independent charity that manages the UK’s unoccupied royal palaces. We are one of very few caterers with a crown listing, meaning we are approved suppliers across all HRP venues.
This beautiful palace offers you a variety of exciting, versatile spaces for hire, and the elegance of Kensington Palace will set your event apart from the ordinary.
It is a traditional, opulent and extravagant venue suited to indulgent dining, and provides the unique opportunity to host banquets and receptions in such an iconic building. Kensington Palace is very popular with international clients as a classical landmark and home to William and Catherine, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
The Orangery is a relatively blank canvas, lending itself to bold, colourful and elaborate styling which provides a lovely contrast to the building.
One of our favourite events at the palace was a one-off fairground event with a mad hatters afternoon tea for a corporate family day. The Orangery is a perfect setting to host a summer party in with guests spilling out onto the lawns. Our venue specialist Anna recommends an intimate dinner and opera in the King’s Gallery.
A little-known fact and one of the reasons we love working there is that our kitchen space was originally Queen Victoria’s bedroom!
