The new cultural home of Japan in the heart of Kensington, Japan House London has just appointed Blue Strawberry as a preferred supplier.

Japan House London provides a unique and prestigious backdrop for a variety of events from receptions and dinners to informal gatherings, conferences, and product launches. The interior of the listed Art Deco building has been transformed  into a stunning contemporary space and it offers an ideal canvas to engage with clients and activate brands in an iconic setting.

Ideally located on London’s prestigious Kensington High Street, Japan House London offers an authentic and stylish encounter with Japan. The venue showcases the very best of Japanese art, design, gastronomy, innovation, and technology, deepening the public’s appreciation of the multitude of delights that Japan has to offer. The House is part of a world-wide initiative led by the Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which has established Japan Houses in Los Angeles and São Paulo.

With a wide-ranging programme, Japan House celebrates Japan’s innovative, creative and technological merits, while shining a spotlight on the artisans, craftsmen, designers, performers, musicians and other professionals who are making waves both in Japan and around the world – from internationally renowned individuals, to emerging artists who are excelling in their field.

Japan House London’s diverse rooms are available for hire to organisations, bodies and companies whose activities support and promote Japanese culture, society and business. Providing a sleek London location for events ranging from conferences and film screenings, to receptions, meetings and informal gatherings.

The Hall is situated on the lower ground floor. With retractable tiered seating and a large built-in screen, this flexible space is ideal for small conferences, seminars, live performances and film screenings for an audience of 80 – 130 people. Without the tiered seating, the room provides an ideal space for an informal gathering, a reception for up to 130 guests, or a dinner for up to 100.

The Gallery is located on the lower ground floor. Owing to its spacious and open style, the Gallery provides an ideal setting for receptions and informal gatherings for 80 – 100 guests. Smaller spaces, perfect for meetings, workshops, dinners or tastings include The Library and The Tatami Room.
