Hampton Court Palace
Hampton Court Palace
Hampton Court Palace is part of the Historic Royal Palaces (HRP) group, an independent charity that manages the UK’s unoccupied royal palaces. We are one of very few caterers with a crown listing, meaning we are approved suppliers across all HRP venues.
Once Henry VIII’s Palace, Hampton Court makes an unforgettable location for any party or event, having played host to gala celebrations, festive banquets and historic meetings for centuries. Today, its timeless majesty makes for an enchanting venue with its idyllic riverside location, guests can step onto this inspiring stage and experience the grand staircases, cobbled courtyards and gorgeous gardens at one of the greatest palaces ever built.
The flexibility of the space means that you can enjoy your very own palace for the evening. The driveway makes for somewhat of a statement arrival point. Even though we have been working at the palace for years, it still takes our breath away every time we drive down it! Hot toddies are a delightful accompaniment with which to walk through the courtyards. Medieval theming is always amazing in such an iconic venue, but we also enjoy creating events with more contemporary styling when we can really have fun with the theme and create something unusual. At the launch of the 20th Century Garden for example, we created an entirely edible beach-themed dessert station complete with honeycomb pannacotta sandcastles and Captain Morgan truffles.
There are several conservation rules in place but we tailor our menus and drinks so you won’t notice! Using golden beetroots and white strawberries, for example, allows us to creatively stay within the rules and deliver spectacular events.
Our venue specialist, Francesca, would host a winter Christmas party in the Tudor Kitchen with a spit roast on an open fire, fur blankets for the guests and hot toddies, creating a hunting lodge suitable for the king himself!
