A hidden gem in the city, Guildhall acts as a grand setting for glittering banquets in honour of visiting Heads of State and other dignitaries, royal occasions, and receptions for major historical anniversaries.
The venue has a great variety of large spaces, making it ideal for events with a larger number of guests. The extensive large spaces also mean that it is possible to host a conference followed by a gala dinner without needing to reuse any space. The venue’s offering is unique in that the flow of the space means you can host a reception, dinner and dancing in separate but seamlessly linked spaces.
It is a very exciting venue in terms of what you can do from a production point of view and the blank space of the under croft lends itself to theming wonderfully. When lit, the under croft transforms completely as the beautiful stone arches really pick up the light. We love the under croft, so much so that we chose to hold our menu launch there in 2015. Another of our favourite events has been the Mexico-themed World’s 50 Best Restaurants.
